I started as a visual designer who kept asking "why can't the tool just do this?". In December 2017 that question became Deck, a plugin I built with almost no coding experience. It taught me to code, to ship, and to look after real users for years.
Today I sit between design and engineering. At IBM iX I work on design systems and design operations for clients across the Gulf. Outside work I build tools for designers, and lately for the AI agents they work alongside.
What do I believe?
- 01Things can always be simpler than we think.
- 02Design systems are products. They need users, data and care.
- 03AI should edit intent, not pixels.
